Abstract
Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes that in the Canton Glarus hunting is regulated by the state within the framework of the federal hunting legislation, as well as the legislation on protection of mammals and birds. The text – consisting of 12 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: hunting system, responsibility of Canton, prevention and compensation of game damage, financing, control, Hunting Commission, intercantonal agreement, legal protection, penalties.
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 July 1980.
Notes
The present Law is consolidated as of 1 January 2009.The present Law repeals the previous Law of 5 May 1963 on the same subject.
