Abstract
The present Law implements the Federal Act of 20 June 1986 on hunting and protection of wild mammals and birds. In particular, the purpose of the Law is to: a) protect, expand and improve the living space of wild mammals and birds; b) ensure site-specific and functional communities; c) protect wild fauna; d) use stock of wildlife; e) limit damage of wild fauna; f) train hunters and other personnel. The text consists of 76 articles divided into 11 Parts as follows: Introduction (I); Hunting grounds (II); Hunting society and conservancy (III); Rent payment (IV); Hunting rights (V); Living space and community (VI); Hunting planning and game farm (VII); Game loss (VIII); Survey (IX); Hunting Commission (X); Final provisions (IX).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 June 1996.
Notes
The present Law is consolidated as of 1 April 2016.
