Abstract
The present Law enforces the Federal Water Protection Act of 8 October 1971. In particular, the Law sets out in details the competent authorities in the Canton responsible for the enforcement of the aforementioned Cantonal Law. The text consists of 134 articles divided into 14 Parts as follows: General provisions - competent authorities (I); Municipalities (II); Planning (III); Evacuation and treatment of waste water (IV);Waste (V); Facilities for hazardous liquids (VI); Permits (VII); Detergents (VIII); Boats and motor vehicles (IX); Regulations of canals (X); Subsidies (XI); Proceedings (XII); Penalties (XIII); Final and transitional provisions (XIV).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 October 1975.
Notes
The present Law is consolidated as of 20 April 2010.The present Law repeals the Law of 16 March 1955 on the same subject.
