Abstract
The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Aargau. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure. The text consists of 31 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Cantonal spatial information (2); Cadastre of public ownership restrictions (3); Official survey (4); Geographical names (5); Administrative constraints and administrative penalties (6); Transitional and final provisions (7).
