Abstract
The present Ordinance enforces the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998 and the Cantonal Agriculture Law of 30 April 2000. The purpose of the Ordinance is to ensure the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned Laws. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to large and small stockbreeding and livestock sale, as well as support of livestock insurance. The text consists of 17 articles divided in 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Competences (II); Stockbreeding (III); Livestock sale (IV); Support of livestock insurance (V); Final provisions (VI).
