Ordinance implementing the Federal Impact Assessment Ordinance (Impact Assessment Ordinance).

The present Ordinance enforces, inter alia, the Federal Impact Assessment Ordinance of 19 October 1988. The environment impact assessment allows to establish whether a building project or an alteration of an existing facility complies with the requirements of environment protection including protection of nature, landscape, water, forest, hunting, fishing and genetic engineering. The text consists of 14 articles divided into ?7chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Competent authorities (II); Proceedings (III); Procedures (IV); Terms (V); Monitoring of the environment (VI); Final provisions (VII). One Annex is enclosed.
