Abstract
The present Law implements the Federal Power Supply Law of 23 March 2007. Article 1 establishes that the Law regulates a safe, economic and sustainable electricity supply of the Canton. Furthermore, the Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation and in particular, to the division of tasks between municipalities, electricity supply industries and the Canton. The text consists of 21 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Network areas and network operation (II); Electrical connections (III); Organizational forms of cantonal interest (IV); Penalties and execution (V); Final provisions (VI).
