Abstract
The present Regulation implements, inter alia, the Introductory Agriculture Law of 29 June 2000. Article 1 establishes that the term «controlled designation of origin» shall only be used for wine made of first class grapes. The text – consisting of 11 articles – deals with the following aspects: demarcation of production areas, designation, vine types, cultivation methods, minimum sugar content, maximum yield per unit aerea, enforcement and costs, and entry into force.
