Abstract
These Guidelines aim to regulate advertisements for drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, and foods for special medical purposes in Inner Mongolia. The objective is to ensure compliance with national and regional laws, protect consumer rights, and prevent false or misleading claims.
An advertisement of a dietary supplement must clearly state: "This product is not a substitute for medicine." The content of advertisements for special medical purpose formula foods shall be based on the registration certificate, product label and instructions approved by the State Administration for Market Regulation. Special medical purpose formula food advertisements involving product name, formula, nutritional characteristics, applicable population, etc. shall not exceed the scope of the registration certificate, product label and instructions.
