Abstract
These Guidelines aim to regulate online live-streaming advertising activities in Inner Mongolia, ensuring compliance with national laws and protecting consumers from false, misleading, or harmful advertisements. They emphasize the responsibilities of live-streaming platforms, advertisers, and influencers to uphold transparency and integrity in their promotional activities.
Live-streaming advertisements must be accurate and must not mislead or deceive consumers. Advertisements for food products must not imply medical benefits or use misleading claims about health effect. When advertising crop seeds, breeding livestock and poultry, aquatic seedlings, or farming-related products, the following are prohibited: Making claims or guarantees about their effectiveness; Promising specific economic benefits; Using the name or image of research institutions or users to endorse or prove the product. It is prohibited to use live streaming to promote infant formula or other products claiming to partially or fully replace breast milk, beverages, food, and other products or services that are banned from advertising in mass media by national regulations.
