Abstract
These Measures, consisting of 27 articles, aim to strengthen and standardize the protection and management of State-level public forest. The State- level public welfare forests mentioned in these Measures refer to the protection forests and special purpose forests designated according to the "Measures for the Delineation of State-level Public Forests".
The State Forestry Administration is responsible for the guidance, coordination and supervision of the national public welfare forest management at the national level, and the local forestry departments at all levels are responsible for the protection and management of national public welfare forests within their jurisdiction. The central government shall arrange funds for the protection and management of State-level public welfare forests.
