Measures for Ecological Environment Supervision of Ecological Conservation Red Lines (for Trial Implementation).

These Measures are developed to standardize and guide the ecological environment supervision of the ecological protection red lines, maintain and improve the ecological environment protection effect of the ecological protection red lines, and ensure the national ecological security.
The ecological protection red line referred to in these Measures refers to the ecological protection red line issued and implemented by the provincial people's government with the approval of the State Council.
The Measures are applicable to the ecological environment supervision work of the ecological protection red lines carried out by the competent ecological environment authorities.
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment shall established an ecological status assessment system for the ecological protection red lines, formulate a regulatory indicator system for the ecological protection red lines, and standards and specifications for the ecological status assessment, regularly organize and carry out ecological status assessments for the ecological protection red lines, and evaluate the pattern, quality, service functions, and protection effectiveness of the ecological protection red line ecosystem.
