Abstract
This Regulation aims to enhance the prevention and response to meteorological disasters to safeguard the lives and property of the people.
When preparing territorial spatial plan, key areas or regional development and construction plans, as well as major construction projects, major regional economic development projects, and large-scale climate resource development and utilization projects, relevant government agencies should comprehensively consider the feasibility of climate and the risk of meteorological disasters, and avoid and reduce the impact of meteorological disasters and climate change. The Regulation also mandates the unified release of disaster weather alerts and meteorological disaster warnings by meteorological stations to the public, prohibiting other organizations or individuals from issuing such alerts.
