Abstract
These Regulations, consisting of 56 articles, are formulated in accordance with the Forestry Law for the purposes of effectively preventing and extinguishing forest fire and protecting forest sources.
A responsibility system of administrative leaders of people’s governments at various levels shall be practiced in the work of prevention of forest fire (art.2). Funds for fire prevention shall be incorporated into the budgets of fiscal year of the people’s governments and earmarked for special purposes (art.8).
The relevant rules and procedures for forest fire prevention and control, rewards, offences and penalties are further stipulated in the Text.
