Decree-Law No. 31/2021 establishing the general conditions that pre-packaged products must satisfy.

This Decree-Law, consisting of 24 articles divided into five Chapters and three Annexes, establishes the general conditions that pre-packaged products must satisfy, with a view to making them available on the market. It establishes as well as the rules regarding the nominal quantities applicable to certain products, for reasons of their specificity and in the interest of consumers. It applies to all pre-packaged products intended for sale in nominal quantities or nominal unit capacities equal to or greater than 5 g or 5 ml and equal to or less than 50 kg or 50 l. The Decree-Law does not apply to products referred to in No. 2 of annex I, when sold in duty-free stores for consumption outside Cape Verde.
