Examples of institutes covered by this Decree in the fields of agriculture, livestock, fisheries and forestry: (a) "Instituto Nacional de Fomento Agro-Pecuário"; (b) "Instituto Nacional de Florestas e de Engenharia Rural"; (c) "Instituto Nacional de Investigação e Desenvolvimento Agrários" and "Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento das Pescas". All activities concerning fishing and rural development shall be implemented in coordination with inter-ministerial, regional, public and private entities, particularly by working out plans and projects. The Government of Cape Verde develops its activities in the fields of fisheries and rural development through the Direct Administration Services Department, under the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture (MPAAR "Ministério das Pescas, Agricultura e Animação Rural").
