Resolution No. 14/2013 creating the Strategic Council of the Maritime Cluster (CECM).

This Resolution, consisting of 15 articles, creates the Strategic Council of the Maritime Cluster (CECM) according to Decree-Law No. 9/2009 30 March. CECM aims at: approving the strategic plan of "Cluster do Mar"; propose to the Governmental entities competent for infrastructures and Maritime Economy related to maritime area, considered necessary legislative measures for the implementation of Cluster do Mar; coordinate, assess and implement the strategic plan, guaranteeing its articulation with other cross-cutting governmental programmes; contribute to the coordination, implementation and follow-up of actions, measures and policies related to Cluster do Mar; support the creation of conditions facilitating the development of maritime economy; facilitate the communication and operational dialogue regarding policies between public and private sectors in maritime economy; promote favorable conditions to attract private investments and perform business, in coordination with organisms allowing the development of maritime economy.
