Abstract
This Resolution approves the adoption of public policy measures to strengthen the resilience of the country's oil/energy system and food system, in the face of rising international prices, as a result of the international crisis caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine, under the Decree-Law No. 19/2009 of 22 June, which establishes the guiding principles of the price policy and the new formulas for calculating the prices of commercialization of petroleum products in Cape Verde. The mentioned resilience building measures aim to contribute to: a) Avoid stockouts of fuel, cereals and other basic food products; b) Keep the prices of these products affordable for consumers; and c) Ensuring the production capacity of the companies, namely those of animal feed, which are essential for the livestock activity.
