Decree No. 287 of 2025 on the Enforcement of Quality Control on Agricultural Products (Marketing Standards for Potatoes Intended for Trade).

This Decree, made under provisions of article 21 of the Law on the Enforcement of Quality Control in Agricultural Products no. 129 of 2025, establishes the marketing standards for potatoes intended for trade. These standards include: geographical indications, applied to potatoes of cultivated varieties intended to be supplied fresh to the consumer; size and quality requirements, including being practically free from pests and diseases or lesions caused by pests and diseases; classification; quality and size tolerance for each packaging; specific requirements for packaging and presentation; marking requirements, with indication of the name of the producer and the name of the variety.
