Abstract
This Ministerial Decree, implementing provisions of the Milk (Contracting for the Delivery of Fresh Milk) Law, no. 50 of 2017, and in compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation 1308/2013/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing a Common Organisation of the Markets in Agricultural Products, concerns milk produced from cows, sheep and/or goats. The Decree requires the first purchaser of milk: to submit an application to the competent authority, in accordance with the form prescribed in Appendix A, to inform the competent authority about the producers, collectors and transporters with whom the purchaser will cooperate; to transmit to the competent authority the daily total amount of raw milk delivered; to provide analysis at least twice per month for the fats and proteins of said milk for each producer. The Decree authorises the competent authority to keep registers of milk buyers.
