Decree no. 318 of 2024 concerning Poultry Meat Marketing Specifications.

This Ministerial Decree, implementing provisions of the section 20 of the Poultry Meat Marketing Specifications Act, no. 110 of 2020, concerns powers and duties of the competent authority and of the National Accreditation Body to issue certifications, define control procedures and commit sanctions applicable in case of non-compliance, to poultry meat producers and slaughterhouses. The Decree specifies the following obligations of the Certification Body: keeping details of the control procedures; keeping an inspection file per installation, with all data and documents transmitted for the purposes of the control system; carrying out checks on the facilities with the frequency defined by the European Legislation; drawing up an inspection report; providing evidence and documents with the control certificate; taking all the necessary corrective actions to eliminate non-conformities.
