Law no. 103 of 2019, concerning the Risk Management in Agricultural Production and Related Matters.

This Law, consisting of 12 articles, provides for management of risks in primary agricultural production and defines the following relevant terms: agrarian organisations; competent authority; agricultural holding; natural disasters; primary agricultural production; plan; fund; active protection; annual levy. Matters covered by the Law concern: elaboration and content of risk management plan, including: compensation for losses due to natural disasters and adverse climatic events, restoration of the environment in areas declared fire-affected, active protection actions concerning primary agricultural production; establishment of a fund for the purpose of risk management in primary agricultural production and related account and budget of the fund; annual contribution to the fund due by every manager of an agricultural holding; management committee and related powers and duties; financing; issuance of regulations.
