Abstract
This Decree, implementing provisions of Article 10 of the Milk (Conclusion of Contracts for the Delivery of Fresh Milk) Law of 2017, and in order to adapt the Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products, to the Law of the Cyprus Republic, concerns obligations of producers of fresh cow's milk. According to the Decree, every producer of fresh cow's milk is obliged to: submit to the competent authority an application for registration in the register of milk producers; hold a certificate of registration of an establishment of food of animal origin; to own the cows used to produce milk; to keep records of payment; to deliver the milk to approved purchaser and collector-transporter; to justify the quantities of milk produced and sold.
