Abstract
These Regulations amend the Production and Marketing of Vegetable Plants and Propagating Material other than Seeds for Sowing Regulations of 2005. Amendments concern: harmonisation of Cypriot Legislation with the Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2020/177 of 11 February 2020 amending previous European Legislation regarding organisms harmful to plants on seeds and other plant reproductive material; implementation of the Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016, on protective measures against organisms harmful to plants; adding new terms and definition: non-quarantine pests; vegetable propagating material and seedlings must be free from any harmful organisms; inspection activity.
