Protection and Management of Wild Birds and Game Law of 2003 (No. 152(I)/2003).

This Law, consisting of 19 Parts and 11 Annexes, may be cited as the Protection and Management of Wild Birds and Game Law of 2003 (hereinafter referred to as 'basic law'). The Law is divided as follows: General Provisions (Part II); Wild Birds (Part Part III); Types of Community Interest (Part IV); Steering Committee Management (Part V); Game (Part VI and VII); Prohibited Means and Methods of Hunting (Part VIII); Restricted Periods and Restricted Areas (Part IX); Trading Game (Part X); Prohibitions (Part XI); Protection of Agriculture (Part XII); Control on non-protected Species (Part XIII); Organisations (Part XIV); Areas for Training Hunters (Part XV); Powers of the Members for Hunting Fund Service (Part XVI); Extrajudicial Setting (Part XVII); Miscellaneous (Part XVIII). Annexes are divided as follows: Wild Birds Protection including defined Areas for Special Protection (Annex I); Wild Birds defined for hunting activity (Annex II); Wild Birds permitted to trade (Annex III); Animal Species of Community Interest requiring strict protection (Annex IV); Animal Species of community Interest for conservation in Specific Conservation Areas (Annex V); Protected Bird Species (Annex VI); Type A: Request for acquisition of First Marketing and Hunting Monitoring Training Course; Type B: Request for Obtaining Hunting Licence: Type C: Request for Acquisition of Marketing Game; Type D: Permission for Marketing Game; Type E: Data to be registered in Book Game; Type G: Request for Obtaining License Embalmers; Type: Book Embalmers; Type I: Form Approval (Annex VII) Table Fees Payable (Annex VIII); Endangered Bird Species (Annex IX); Non-protected Species of Wild Birds (Annex X).
The provisions of this Law shall not affect the application of the provisions of the Forests Laws of 1967-2003, under the Fisheries Act, of the Town and Country Planning Law of 1972 to 2002 and of the Protection and Management of Nature and Wildlife Law 2003.
