Abstract
These Regulations, issued by the Council of Ministers, pursuant to article 68 of the Weights and Measures Law, concern all packaged goods excluding those used as a raw material in any industry, those used as mass use in any industry or commercial enterprise, and any good used in any mine or quarry or for operating purposes. The Regulations provide for the following matters: packaging marking, including: name or trade name or any indication or mark identifying the producer, the identity of the good and the quantity of the good; remote sale of packaging; use of the EEC mark on packaging; obligations of the packer and the importer, including: security of the nominal quantity, liabilities regarding equipment, measurements, control and documents; packaging control and inspection; powers of inspectors, including disposal of rejected packages; specific requirements in case the packages containing food intended for human consumption.
