The Urban and Spatial Planning (Installation of an Energy Storage System in combination with approved projects for the production of electricity from Renewable Energy Sources with the required permits) Special Development Decree no. 142 of 2025.

This Decree, made under provisions of Town and Country Planning Law, applies to the installation of an energy storage system in combination with a project for the production of electricity from renewable energy sources that has secured a planning and building permit. The Decree prohibits the installation of the electricity storage system in the following areas: conservation and protected area; airport special zone; cultural heritage area; tree protection area. The Decree specifies conditions for installing the electricity storage system, including soil protection measures, granting land property rights, and compliance with water pollution control measures and waste disposal provisions.
