Act no. 356/2003 on chemical substances and preparations.

The Act establishes, in accordance with European Community legislation, the legislative framework relevant to activities related to chemical substances and preparations, with a view to preventing hazardous effects and protecting the environment. The Act lays down rights and obligations of legal persons and individuals at the time of distributing and marketing chemical substances and preparations, testing dangerous qualities, packaging and marking. Further provisions regard the exportation and transport of chemical substances and preparations, as well as their registration and duty to report. Article 1, point 1 specifies the products to which these provisions do not apply.
