Abstract
The Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture is composed of the following Sections: Subject matter (Sec. 1); Protection of animals during transport covered by directly applicable regulation of the European Community (Sec. 2); Protection of animals during transport not covered by directly applicable regulation of the European Community (Sec. 3); Final provisions (Sec. 4). This Decree establishes, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, provisions concerning: (a) training of employees of the carrier; (b) the content and scope of the training to obtain a certificate for drivers and operators of road vehicles, both for transport of all species of animals and for specialized transport; (c) the size of space for the transport of animals.
