Abstract
The purpose of this Decree of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture is to establish methods of the assessment of the quality of surface waters. The present Decree is composed of 19 articles and 14 Annexes and lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation: (a) method of assessment of the status of surface water bodies; (b) method of assessing the ecological potential of heavily modified and artificial bodies of surface water; (c) details on the program for the identification and assessment of surface water.
