Decree on requirements for meat, meat products, fishery and aquaculture products and products thereof, eggs and products thereof.

Type of law

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation, (a) the method of labelling foodstuff and composition of the food; (b) types of food classified into groups and subgroups; (c) quality and technological requirements for individual types of food; (d) temperature regimes when storing frozen food, ways of storing and handling food during its marketing, special requirements for transport, minimum technological requirements for individual types of food. The present Decree is composed of Sections specifying requirements for individual types of food: meat (Sec. 1); meat products (Sec. 2); fishery and aquaculture products (Sec. 3); eggs and mayonnaise (Sec. 4).
