Abstract
This Decree of the Ministry of Health, which is composed of 15 articles and seven Annexes, lays down: (1) method of providing information on packaged natural mineral waters, packaged spring waters, packaged infant waters and packaged drinking waters; (2) method of treatment of bottled water; (3) quality requirements, technological requirements and permissible negative volume deviations of the packaging of bottled water. Packaged waters must be clear and colorless, with the exception of packaged natural mineral water, which may be at most slightly yellowish or with slight turbidity or sediment. Bottled waters must not contain pathogens or organisms indicating their possible presence and must not show organoleptic defects. Requirements for the quality of bottled water are specified in the Annexes.
