Hamburg Waste Disposal Law (HmbAbfG).

Article 1 establishes that the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in accordance with the Federal Waste Avoidance, Recovery and Disposal Act of 17 September 1994 (BGBl. I p. 2705) aims at a low-waste recycling management to conserve natural resources and to ensure environmentally compatible disposal of waste. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Public waste disposal, waste management planning (II); Waste disposal facilities, measures taken by the responsible authorities (III); Connection and usage rules (IV); Final provisions (V).
