Abstract
The purpose of the present Law is: 1) to conserve forests because of their economic utility, their importance for the environment, and in particular as living space for wild living animals and wild growing plants, for the climate, water resources, pollution of the air, fertility of the soil; 2) to ensure a sustainable and sound management of the forest, 3) to promote forestry and 4) achieving a harmonization between the public interest and the interests of forest owners. The text consists of 34 articles divided into 10 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Sustainable forest management(II); Forest conservation (III); Entering the forest, riding and driving (IV); Special provisions for public, corporate and community forest (V); Forest management associations and forest plant communities (VI); Promotion of corporate and private forest (VII); State Forestry Administration and State Forest Committee (VIII); Penalties (IX); Final provisions (X).
