Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the State Treaty between the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland on the establishment and maintenance of the National Park “Hunsrück-Hochwald and the Law No. 1842 of 12 November 2014 on approval of the State Contract of 4 October 2014 between the Land Rheinland-Pfalz and the Saarland on the establishment and maintenance of the National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the exercise of hunting rights. The Ordinance applies to the area located in the Saarland of the National Park in accordance with article 2 of the Treaty. Article 3 establishes that National Park Office is responsible for the exercise of hunting rights. Article 6 specifies that the National Park Office shall ensure the implementation of a monitoring programme, which provides the information necessary for preparing a plan to regulate wildlife and a performance review of the related actions. However, the provisions of the Federal Hunting Act and the Federal Animal Health Act remain unaffected. The text consists of 8 articles.
