Abstract
An Ordinance dealing with requirements to be met by seeds and planting materials of vegetable, fruit and ornamental plants for the purpose of marketing and in respect of importation and exportation. It consists of 13 articles divided into 4 Parts: General provisions (1) - Sphere of application - Definitions of certain terms such as, for example, "planting material" or "multiplication material", "standard material", "authorized material of fruit varities", "certified planting material", "categories", "material without virus", etc.; Bringing into circulation (2) - Registration of firms intending to bring into circulation planting materials - Duties of such authorized firms - Requirements for standard material - Authorized planting material for pomes and stone fruits - Labelling and periodical control; Importation and Exportation (III); Final provisions (IV) - Exceptions - Penalties - Transitional provisions. Four Annexes are joint.
