Abstract
An Act to regulate in detail sanitary requirements for the purchase, processing, storage and transport of fresh poultry meat. The Act defines at the outset its scope of application. Article 2 contains a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as, "poultry", "production plants", "official examination", "import" and "export". Part 2 prescribes the requirements for the marketing of poultry meat in general, and Part 3 deals with its importation and exportation. Finally, the Act governs issues such as control, statistics and penalties in case of violations. The Act consists of 34 articles divided into 6 Parts.
