Abstract
Article 1 establishes that game is an essential part of the local environment and as such it has to be conserved as an essential part of the natural general environment. The purpose of the present Law is to: 1) conserve the great variety of wild animals in respect of its natural living basis; 2) ensure, improve and re-instate, as the case may be, the natural living basis of wild animals; 3) limit damages in the forests and on agricultural cultivations caused by wild huntable animals; 4) harmonize matters pertaining to hunting in particular with those of nature protection, animal protection, care of landscape. The text consists of 63 articles divided into 12 Parts as follows: Purpose of the Law (I); Hunting districts, foster associations (II); Devolution of hunting rights to third parties (III); Protection of game and its living spaces (IV); Promotion of hunting (V); Hunting exercise (VI); Protection of hunting (VII); Damage cause by game and hunting (VIII); Trade in game (IX); Organization, competence, proceedings (X); Penalties (XI); Transitional and final provisions (XII).
