Abstract
The Minister for the Environment shall lay down the rules necessary for the administration in Denmark of the EU regulations on trade in timber and timber products in order to control its illegal trade. A request shall be submitted to the Minister for the Environment for permission of trade, provided that it includes information (including financial and accounting details) which may affect the authorities' implementation of inspection, sampling, copying and distribution of written material and print of electronic data. The Minister for the Environment may lay down rules on fees to cover all or partial costs of administration and supervision of compliance with the European Union regulations on FLEGT licenses and regulations issued pursuant to this Act.
