Abstract
This Executive Order, of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark, establishes fees for border control in Greenland on the import, transit, or transshipment of fishery products, live mussels, related by-products, and products derived from them from non-EU/EEA countries. It defines the scope of products covered and sets specific charges: 116 DKK per ton (or 25 DKK per ton in containers) for fish and mussels intended for consumption, a base fee of 288 DKK plus 433 DKK per quarter-hour for by-products and processed items, and the same for transit/transshipment. Laboratory analyses required under EU rules must be paid at actual cost. If inspections cannot be carried out due to the importer’s fault, additional fees apply. Handling and storage costs are not covered by the authorities.
