Abstract
This Executive Order, of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark, sets rules for the export from Greenland of feed, animal by-products, and derived products. The Order defines the scope, key terms, and responsibilities of exporting companies, requiring them to be registered or approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen). Exports must comply with destination country requirements, use valid certificates, and maintain separation of goods when required. Special provisions apply for exports to countries demanding prior approval of Greenlandic companies. Exporters must implement written self-monitoring systems to ensure compliance, and violations can lead to fines, including for companies as legal persons.
