Abstract
This Order lays down provisions for licensing and registration of food businesses handling food contact materials and requirements for self-monitoring laboratories.
The Order consists of: Scope and definitions (Section I); Food businesses engaged in primary production (Section II); Registration (chapter 1); Primary producers directly supplying end-consumers and hunters and beekeepers supplying retail businesses (chapter 2); Food businesses engaged in any stage of production after primary production (Section III); Approval and registration (chapter 3); Authorization and registration of special activities (chapter 4); Food in contact with materials (Section IV); Registration of businesses handling food contact materials (chapter 5); General on companies included in the Act (Section V); Requirements for food companies (chapter 6); Procedure for approval and registration (chapter 7); Renewal, withdrawal of approval, registration (chapter 8); Requirements for self-monitoring laboratories (Section VI); Penal provisions (Section VII); Entry into force and transitional provisions (Section VIII).
