Abstract
The Order sets regulations on the subsidy for public reforestation of Danish forestry areas. These subsidies apply to forests on publicly or privately owned agricultural land, including areas allocated for the improvement/preparatory treatments of soil, purchase of plants, planting and fence building. The requiring criteria for receiving subsidy grants shall be in adherence to article 4 of the Forest Act. Areas must measure min. 5 hectares where plantation of suitable tree species shall take place no later than 31 May 2014. Said areas shall be required to have been of commercial farming prior to subsidy application, or that have not received financial support for agri-environmental activities in adherence to the Ministry of Food regulations. Application for subsidy shall be submitted to the Danish Nature Agency no later than 1 December 2013; payment shall be of two installments (75% and 25% of total amount).
