Abstract
The Order lays down provisions on the use of extractants, food enzymes, food additives, technical aids, and aromas for food, with the aim of protecting human, animal and plant health. Traditional Danish foods listed in Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on food additives may only be marketed if they comply with the conditions laid down in that Annex. This Order contains 4 Chapters and 3 Annexes: Chapter 1. Scope and definitions; Chapter 2. Particular provisions of use; Chapter 3. Traditional danish food; Chapter 4. Administrative provisions, penalties and entry into force.
Annex 1 - Extraction solvents used in the treatment of raw materials, food and food ingredients.
Annex 2 - Information to be submitted for the approval of a food enzyme.
Annex 3 - Addition of nitrite (E 249-250) to meat products.
