Order No. 1330 on the international transport of perishable foodstuffs.

This Order regulates the international transport of perishable foodstuffs to and from Denmark under the ATP framework, requiring specified food products to be transported in approved insulated transport equipment, including road vehicles, rail wagons and containers, where relevant accompanied by an ATP certificate or certificate plate. It sets rules for approval, type approval, inspection, marking and withdrawal of approval for insulated, refrigerated, mechanically refrigerated, heated, and combined refrigerated/heated transport equipment, including hygiene-related construction requirements for internal surfaces, doors, drainage, protection against insects and dust, and fittings for hanging meat or other unpackaged foods. It also establishes transport-temperature requirements for frozen, deep-frozen and chilled food categories, including ice cream, butter, meat products, certain dairy products, prepared foods, cut vegetables and fish products, as well as requirements for temperature-measuring equipment. The Order designates DMRI/ATP-materielkontrollen as the approval and inspection body, regulates its procedures, budget and accounts, assigns control tasks at import and export to the food authorities, tax authorities, police and railway authorities, and provides penalties for non-compliance.
