Abstract
The Order sets regulations with regard to facilities and companies using one or more processes and activities involving organic solvents. In order to obtain such permission, an application must be submitted to the competent authorities. The Order applies to facilities and activities involving the use of substances or mixtures containing volatile organic compounds that are or should be CMR classified, or halogenated volatile organic compounds that are or should be CM-classified. The attached Appendices list the authorized emission limits of such substances.
The Order consisists of 11 Chapters and 4 appendices: Scope (1); Definitions (2); Provisions for facilities or activities on listed companies (3); Provisions for facilities or activities on non-listed companies (4); Emission limits (5); Common provisions for CMR substances and halogenated CM-substances (6); Self-monitoring (7); Reporting to the regulating authorities (8); Municipal council reports to the regulating authorities (9); Penalties (10); Entry into force and transitional provisions (11).
