Abstract
The Order applies to facilities where one or more processes and activities taking place as specified in Appendix 1, reach and exceed the threshold value specified in Appendices 2 and 3 for the annual consumption of organic solvents. The Order complements the Order on approval of listed activities. The Order applies to facilities and activities involving the use of substances or mixtures containing volatile organic compounds that are or should be CMR classified, or halogenated volatile organic compounds that are or should be CM-classified. The attached Appendices list the authorized emission limits of such substances.
The Order consisists of 11 Chapters and 4 appendices: Scope (1); Definitions (2); Provisions for facilities or activities on listed companies (3); Provisions for facilities or activities on non-listed companies (4); Emission limit values (5); Common provisions for CMR substances and halogenated CM-substances (6); Self-monitoring (7); Reporting to the regulating authorities (8); Municipal council reports to the Environmental Protection Agency (9); Penalties (10); Entry into force and transitional provisions (11).
