Abstract
This Order regulates rules on grains and seeds, which may only be sold for sowing purposes, and therefore applies to any commercial activity thereof (sale, distribution, delivery etc.). This Order does not apply to the supply of grain for official control, testing and examinations nor to the supply of grain from processing or packaging. Businesses in Denmark producing seeds for sale, must be registered with the Danish AgriFish Agency. Breeding of seeds should be based on a written contract between grower and a registered company. For the production of seed, it is mandatory that it is approved for certification complying with requirements and standards. The Agency may certify a party of seeds sold internationally in adherence to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) if the lot is to be exported to a State which is not a member of the European Union.
