Order No. 422 on subsidies to promote sustainable forestry.

Abstract
The Order sets regulations with regard to the awarding of subsidies for the sustainability of existing forests, and which granting may be authorized by the Danish Nature Agency. The latter shall grant subsidies to projects with the aim of maintaining, expanding and ensuring proper forestry operations in accordance with the Natura 2000 planning. Subsidies shall be granted to municipalities or private land-owners.
The Order consists of 5 Chapters: Grants (1); Recipients of grants (2); Economics (3); Application, reporting and payment of subsidies (4); Supervision, sanctions, appeals and entry into force (5).

Repealing Order No. 457 of 7 May 2006.Approval of a subsidy granted in adherence to Order No. 457 of 7 May 2006, Order No. 195 of 26 March 1998, Order No. 233 of 11 April 1991 and Order No. 580 of 30 June 1995 shall remain valid in accordance with this Order’s regulations.
