Abstract
This Regulation sets out detailed rules for the implementation of control procedures as well as cross-compliance in respect of the cofinanced rural development support measures established pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 1698/2005, concerning European Union support for rural development, which is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The Regulation lays down specific provisions on applications for support, payment claims and other related declarations. Further it regulates controls on compliance with the eligibility criteria, commitments and linked obligations.
